All information in the CareSearch portal is open to everyone. There are four CareSearch Centres. Each centre was developed with a specific purpose and audience in mind. 


Community Centre

For the community and for those directly affected by the need for palliative care. A safe and welcoming place for everyone to learn about end of life and  palliative care. 

Health Professional Centre

A place for health professionals and the workforce providing palliative care. A trustworthy and practical resource relevant to practice.

Evidence Centre

A place for people to find, learn about, and work with palliative care evidence. An authoritative, practical, and foundational resource to support best practice and improving care.

Finding what you need

In each of the centres there are different ways to find the information you need.

  • You can navigate from the home page by selecting from one of the main centres to look for relevant topics.
  • You can enter a word in the search box in the top right hand section of this page.
  • If you come to a CareSearch page from another website you can easily see where you are by the breadcrumbs beneath the top banner: You are here:… . You can always return to the home page by clicking on the CareSearch logo in the top left corner of your screen.
  • Within content pages there is a menu at the right hand side of the page to help with navigation within the Centre.

CareSearch has developed this website to ensure content is available to as many users as possible. The website compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.0 Level AA is outlined in our Accessibility Statement.
