Jennifer is the CareSearch Director and Chief Investigator for the project. As the Director, Jennifer's role is to manage the project and the project team. Prior to her involvement with CareSearch, she had managed projects and teams within the government, community and education sectors.
Raechel is the Senior Research Fellow for the CareSearch and palliAGED projects. She comes to this role with experience in developing a Knowledge and Implementation Hub of aged care evidence and resources for Aged Care Research & Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA) and as a specialist health librarian.
Caitlin is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Flinders University, researching interventions for mood disorders in people with neurodegenerative diseases. As a Research Assistant for CareSearch, Caitlin conducts environmental scans to identify useful resources for health professionals providing palliative care, analyses review data and contributes to website content updates.
As the Research Officer, Susan identifies, appraises, and synthesises the available evidence to develop content and resources for the palliAGED and CareSearch websites. She also supports the planning and execution of project and research activities through effective collaborations with stakeholders involved in the development and review of content, resources, and digital products. Susan has a background in physiotherapy and 10+ years’ experience in research support particularly working on positive ageing projects.
Madeleine Juhrmann is a final-year PhD candidate at the University of Sydney, exploring the role of paramedics delivering palliative and end-of-life care in Australian communities. Prior to commencing her PhD, Madeleine worked as a Policy Officer for HammondCare, completed a Masters of Public Health and trained as a paramedic in South Australia. Madeleine’s key research interests lie in reducing avoidable hospital admissions and expanding public health approaches to palliative care. As a Flinders University alumnus, Madeleine is delighted to be returning to the university as a Research Fellow with CareSearch. Madeleine will be based in Sydney, working from the UTS IMPACCT office.
Jasmine is the Marketing Officer for CareSearch and palliAGED projects. She has experience in planning, supporting, and implementing marketing initiatives, social media management, EDM’s, website maintenance and graphic design.
Caitlin is a Research Assistant for CareSearch. Her duties involve revising the CareSearch online content for people involved in the palliative care sector, specifically with updating the online resources and learning modules. She also assists with creating CareSearch impact and engagement infographics, and screening evidence-based research for use.
As Project Officer for CareSearch, Cameron is responsible for maintaining and editing the CareSearch/palliAGED websites. He also runs website analytics, ensures ongoing website and document accessibility, and administers online forms and Qualtrics surveys. Cameron supports the Marketing Officer in creating and distributing newsletters and branded emails and assists in other research and project activities as required.
Adriana assists with Marketing activities for CareSearch and palliAGED. She assists the Marketing Officer with campaigns and social media, in addition to website maintenance and other project activities as required.
Bernie is the administrative assistant for CareSearch. She deals with invoicing and other administrative tasks, and also assists the web team when required.
Eric Yang is the Web Systems Manager for the CareSearch Group. He provides technical leadership to support the operation of the CareSearch Group of websites and applications. Eric has experience in website design, database design and development, data analytics and information system project management.

Katrina Erny-Albrecht is the Senior Research Fellow for the CareSearch project, her responsibilities include management of CareSearch and palliAGED website content. With a background in evidence based research synthesis to inform health care policy and practice decision making, she has previously worked on projects for the government, education and commercial sectors.
Deborah is the Research Associate (Evidence) for the CareSearch project. In her role she will identify, critically analyse, and synthesize research evidence in palliative care to aid the development of resources for the General Practitioner and primary health community. She has a background in health informatics and spatial science, and has led a couple of projects which assess the accessibility of health services to the population that they serve.
Ruth is the Web Content Administrator for the project and is responsible for web admin and maintenance of content and various web systems and sites. Ruth works with IT partner, Morton Blacketer, on functional issues relating to the various website systems.
Cameron works as a Project Officer assisting in the maintenance and administration of the CareSearch website. Cameron is also responsible for the distribution of newsletters and branded emails as well as assisting in various research and project activities including survey analysis, bibliographic analysis and qualitative analysis.
Grace is the administrative assistant for CareSearch. She deals with invoicing and other administrative tasks, and also assists the web team when required.
Susan has a background in physiotherapy and 10+ years’ experience in research support particularly working on positive ageing / healthy ageing projects. Having overseen the palliAGED Project from August 2016 to early 2018, and leading the allied health arm of the CareSearch and palliAGED Engagement Project in 2017-2020, she is now working on re-development of the Caresearch Nurse’s Hub.

Samantha is the Marketing Assistant for the CareSearch project and is responsible for assisting with a range of marketing and communication activities for both CareSearch and palliAGED. Samantha has experience as both an assistant marketing coordinator and project administrator.
