About this module

This module is designed for health professionals who support carers in palliative care settings. It introduces you to CareSearch resources that you might use to help people adjust to their role as a carer and find the right information and help at the right time.

CareSearch is a trusted, peer-reviewed online resource offering evidence-based information for patients, families, and health professionals.

In following the story of Lana, a young mother caring for her seriously ill mother, you’ll be invited to reflect on the emotional, social, and clinical dimensions of caregiving and how your role can make a meaningful difference. You will also explore how CareSearch resources can guide and enhance your practice.

This module includes:

  • A short quiz at the end to test your understanding of CareSearch resources.

Completion time for this module is approximately 15 minutes.

You can download a certificate of completion for your portfolio.
