Learning Module - Communicating with families about children who have life-limiting conditions
This module is based upon an actual paediatric palliative care consultation & reflections by a clinician, family member & academic. This will provide opportunities to reflect upon the principles of communication and highlight different communication strategies. One of the themes that emerges from the module relates to 'shared decision making'.
Beginner / Intermediate
Any health professional with an interest in learning more about communicating with families, or those who currently support children with a life-limiting condition and their families.

This module is self-paced, requiring approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
