It is not easy to be completely clear and rational when you are upset. Making decisions at the end-of-life can be challenging. Your feelings and emotions can affect the important decisions that you need to make. Some of your medications may also affect your thinking.
When you are ill, there is so much more to take in and think about. One way to approach decision making is to take time to talk things through. Consider what is important to you and what would be the right thing to do. Don’t make any rushed decisions. Think and plan things through. Discuss any issues you may have with family and friends. You may like to involve your carer in your decisions. You could also talk to a health professional.
