National palliative care initiatives and programs
The Commonwealth Government has funded 14 national projects across 2023-2026 as well as a number of initiatives. These projects focus on improving the quality of palliative care in Australia through workforce education and training, quality improvement, increasing support in rural and regional areas, data development activities, and encouraging the uptake of advance care planning.
