Updated Aged Care eLearning module available: Embedding rights into practice

As a provider, if you need to lift capability to implement the Aged Care Act 2024 in your organisation, there is a suite of eLearning modules to help you! The Australian Government has recently updated one of the modules- Module 3, Release 2 to assist.

This release supports you and your workforce to apply the rights-based Act in everyday practice. The module now has additional content and updated resources regarding strengthened supported decision-making, cultural safety guidance and rights-based, person-centred care.

You can find the updated modules and tools on the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing website or via the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s Alis platform.

Additionally, you can request Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) packages to incorporate new Act eLearning into your Learning Management System by emailing educationnewAct@health.gov.au.
