Our Purpose
Demand for palliative care is growing. Good care relies on patients and families having access to trustworthy information and health and aged care professionals making use of relevant and current evidence in their practice. The CareSearch Project makes evidence based guidance and information available for everyone through two websites – CareSearch website and the palliAGED website.
Our Mission
To ensure everyone has access to trustworthy evidence-informed information to support person-centred decision-making and high quality care
Our Approach
We have developed a structured approach to evidence retrieval, appraisal and communication that assures the quality of our information. We work closely with patients, carers and families, and health, aged care and community organisations to make sure what we produce useful and trustworthy.
