Sad news, sorry business: Guidelines for caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through death and dying

Part 1: lists the 4 guiding principles involved in caring for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and their family along the path of dying to death. The guiding principles are:

• Cultural Respect and Recognition
• Communication
• Relationships and Partnerships
• Capacity Building

Part 2 of these guidelines concerns the final stages of life
The subsections are:

• Sad news, sorry business: time after death
• Traumatic or sudden death
